I was one of the few smart people who knew this game was gonna be trash from the start and did not buy it. But is this thing dead or is there still hope? Hear matchmaking is becoming more scarce everyday. DICE is already shifting focus to BF5 and the ripoff season pass is still unknown of contents. What can they do to realistically save this thing?

well battlefront 2 was basically a clone of battlefield at the time. With this game DICE wanted to distance themselves from making a battlefield clone so much that they forgot to make a good/fun game. this game will be dead as shit by the time all the dlc releases, so you'd be wasting your money. When the first dlc pack comes out, you might get matches for a week or two, but thats it. The 2nd 3rd and 4th packs will be DOA unless they add space battles (possible) or clone wars shit with loads of droids and ships (highly unlikely)

I enjoyed the beta, thought this is pretty cool, then realised that all the game modes are almost identical, all the maps are either tiny or linear paths, certain heroes are under powered (palps) while some are OP (Leia) and theres very little map variety

I'd rather have an independly make Battlefront with mod support etc etc etc, but I'd totally enjoy a Battlefield with Star Wars flair.
The easiest way to describe why this game sucks is:
It is not a star wars game when you play it you don't feel like you are in star wars. There is no immersion. It just looks and sounds like star wars but there is no room for immersion. You just shoot other people all day. There is no story and you just compete for win feels.
They need to reboot this shit again, with story in mind and a coop campaign would be a step in the right direction.
