Getting a game tattoo is incredibly retarded, don't do it.
On the other hand nowadays so long as the tattoo isn't on your face, neck or fingers most employers won't give a fuck. Only rigid, and very conservative companies won't have you but most big corps that aren't finance related(banks, investment banks etc.) don't have a problem with tats.
That being said, I don't have one because I know I'll stop liking whatever I get in 6 months or less. I'll wait until removal is more cost effective so I can just swap tats at will.

I have so many friends who get dumb shit that has 'meaning' to them, or their name in Chinese, only to regret it a few months later.
I usually just ask them to fuck my shit up, they draw out something cool and I get it.
1. It is cheaper for some reason, probably because my tattooist likes doing their own thing.
2. I don't regret it because I don't really give a shit what I get. I just tell them, no words or Tribal.
