Honestly not sure what else I want to play on it when I'm done with XCX and the Smash DLC. I've thought about getting MK8 but otherwise everything else would be in "Get it because I have the system" as opposed to actually wanting it.

I'm playing XCX at the moment. Pretty great, just finished chapter five. I think I'm over leveled because of all the side quests. I also just downloaded Fast Racing Neo, which plays well and looks good so far, but I've only played the first cup.
So what's /v/verdict on devils third. I know someone has played it.

Its good, not great. Multiplayer is fun as fuck. Single player is campy and 80s. Gameplay itself is pretty unpolished, and rough. Feels like they run out of budget after getting the initial QA done where they make sure the game doesnt crash all the time. Overall it's a 6/10 by proper standards and a 8/10 by bloated journalism standards.

Oh yea and Wooly World, that game is the closest to Yoshi's Island we've had. Tons of fun alone or multiplayer

yea the game rarely drops, the multiplayer is great. If you boost into someone it'll spin them out so it's fun to fuck with your friends. They definitely were playing FZero while making the game haha

I've been having fun going through the cups, my buddy and I used to time trial on the SNES Fzero. Towards the end we we're always within less than a second of each other, wonder if it will come to that for this one

I somehow still come out on top when I have good games which is nice that level doesn't just auto make you better. Game is addicting as fuck, I thought I would mind the limited maps more but for some reason I don't all that much.
Also I know that feeling with smash. I just don't really enjoy playing against other people online, everyone feels like a try hard and I'm sitting there playing Mega Man or Ike

I know everyone says this, but do not be afraid to look up some video tutorials on some of the finer points of combat. The game does explain pretty much everything if you look, but it's all kind of spread apart, so the videos are a nice condensed way to remember everything you need to learn.
Once the combat clicked for me it easily became one of my favorite games of the past decade.

It's not like wipeout, there's no weapons or anything.
It's more like F-zero that just looks like wipeout.
There's 3 leagues each with 4 cups in them. Subsonic, Supersonic, Hypersonic. Each league gets progressively faster, with Hypersonic being really fucking challenging at first.
Then there's Hero mode, I haven't actually tried this I don't know what it is desu.
Then there's time trials you can do individual levels on and try to beat the devs time, which are generally really good times.
Then multiplayer including local splitscreen.
Racing is mainly about speed, you have a boost which increases with orbs. Then there is the color mechanic which is basically Ikaruga, be blue while on a blue strip and you'll get a boost, otherwise get slowed. There's a few stage hazards that you can dodge or boost through on some stages. The main hazard is generally just going so fast you fall off though.

I dunno if it'll come to another platform. I mean there's always a possibility, but Shin'en has a history of making a game and leaving it on that platform. I don't think they've ever ported something after the fact.
But yeah I love that company, they seem to be tech wizards, the game runs at a stable 60 even with 2 players. I've only been able to get some drops when we got 3 simultaneous crashes on 3 person splitscreen.
