Both Lisa and Undertale are heavily inspired by Earthbound's writing, it's definitely one of the many reasons I love both the games.

It is nothing like Undertale, and only vaguely like earthbound. Everything these faggots say comparing the two is either misguided or false. That being said, its an excellent story with adequate gameplay and unique/fun characters. Pick it up.
