I played it years ago on Vita and it was an ok experience, overrated by its playerbase.

the load times are much much better, it's nothing like it was before. I loved the experience on the vita. Needless to say that the graphic update and 60fps are what I always wanted.
The DLCs are also all in there and now we just have to wait for Gravity Rush 2.

You're insane. The mechanics are made for open world exploration and the joy of controling gravity and flying all over the place. The cities felt alive even without NPCs you could talk to. their reactions when picking them up with the Gravity push and throwing them is amusing and it was a Vita game so it already looked amazing on it.
GR 2 being developped from the start on PS4 will probably incite them on making the city feel even better.

To put to what use? Outside of picking up orbs for XP there was zero point to it, and there was a distinct lack of props to put the physics engine to play with outside of missions as well.

I'll say you can't replay the story missions which is a fucking shame. But there are tons of missions a'd the DLCs are great. It's nice Vita game and a neat remaster. Seriously get it, especially with how cheap it is.
The real competitor comes out in 2016. GR 2 is gonna be nothing short of amazing.

Different anon here, its an enjoyable game, but far, far from perfect. Controlling Kat and using her powers is fun, but there are a lot of really gimmicky controls and the combat is basically Gravity Kick 100% of the time. For $18, I'd say go for it, unless you're super strapped for cash or something. Or maybe check out some reviews first, I don't know.
