I have nothing to add to this thread but I enjoy it conceptually.
I haven't even seen a bear IRL ;-;
Or a waterfall. I hate the waterfall captcha because I've only seen waterfalls in tv and movies and basically am doing what a computer algorithm would do to identify them from other media I've seen.
Sometimes I wonder if bears and waterfalls are even real, and space.

I came here to post bear puns but now I just sort of really want a game involving doing bear things.

Bears are really under represented in video games. The only realistic bears are in hunting games. It sounds bad, but you can just follow the bears around if you want... but after a while they will just run off or despawn or whatever. You can't like follow them for long enough to watch them doing real bear things.

I'd pay top dollar for a Bear Simulator.
-Get to pick what type of Bear you want to be.
-Different Bear food raises different Bear stats.
-Other Bears are constantly trying to take your land, so you have to either scare them off, or fight them.
-Have to defeat a Bear Bitch to be able to mate with her to have cubs.
-Have the option to leave whenever you want, and you could come back a few days later and see your children grown up, even fight and kill some of them if you wanted to.
-Stealth missions where you steal food from campsites without getting spotted by people.
It really has a lot of potential.

Heck, the whole concept of just being an animal mucking about doing just their daily things as a whole is something I'd love as a sim to sink hours into.
A small shark in the depths among the terrifying creatures lurking in the dark. A male polar struggling to survive the harsh winter and do enough in spring to make it through the next, and so forth. Shame it'll never happen.

When I was a kid there always used and be coyotes in my yard and I would go out with a shovel and chase them and kick them because they tried to eat our cats
