I actually love 3, I'd even rank it over the original, I just love 2 even more for its environments and soundtrack. Plus 3 occasionally had some silly gimmicks that were a little hit and miss.

Banjo-Kazooie seems like it was a solid 8.5/10. Maybe 9/10. Banjo-Tooie was a 10/10, and I don't mean that it was perfect, just that I was fucking great and literally my childhood from 5th grade onward. I wish that I had played Kazooie first so I could have enjoyed Tooie even more.
