Everyone should max out shit like Ricochet and Cap Collector just for the bonus effects, seeing people burst into treats when they die is hilarious. Scrounger is also super useful, especially for fusion cores.

This, maxing out Lockpick and Hacker is pointless. At that point you should be good enough at those minigames to not need such a massive crutch. Same goes for the last rank of Sneak.
Pickpocket is great, though. Stealing people's clothes off of their bodies is the fucking best.

I got mysterious serum so water does not even matter.
Problem with aqua person is that many deep water areas have toxic barrels in them that give you high radiation anyways, so you still need a hazmat suit.
Honestly the only time I though I needed to eat a mirelurk cake for water breathing was the fix the pipes quest and that turned out to be just a huge misunderstanding, I assumed the pipes would be at the bottom, they're near the top.

Yeah pick pocket is op as hell.
Common humans/ghouls in towns and city's re-spawn every time you go in and out along as you don't kill them so that means new ammo weapons and gear.
This means go in to diamond city steal all the guards stuff and settlers sell to any one and buy out all the shops.

At the Battle of Bunker Hill, if you alert the Brotherhood and the Railroad, and that fight breaks out everywhere, eventually everyone is downed or dead; if there are any BoS Knights still in power armor, you can sneak up and steal the fusion core like normal, but they'll keep getting back inside, and they always have a fusion core when they do.
It's hilarious.

Instead of the 4th rank of lockpicking or hacking, at least what we have now, it should have just allowed you to bypass Novice and Advanced locks and terminals.
The one they have now is literally pointles.
I like Aqua Boy because diving underwater is terrifying for me and having the perk at least takes a bit of the edge off. There are probably more practical perks to take, but it's fucking Fallout 4, you're going to be so overpowered and have more points than you know what to do with by level 30.

the MOST time you will have to spend in water in this game, is when you swim out to Spectacle Island, and even that's not enough to kill you alone. And once you can fast travel there, you'll never swim back again
