So, I went to pre order Dark Souls 3 and I noticed there is no CE or special edition for PC, just the download.
Why is this the case for nearly every game out there? PC at most has a physical version, no extra goodies.
Any answers?
Either laziness, or more likely, Msoft and/or sony pay to have it be for their system.

PC is a 99.999999999999% digital market and lots of "enthusiasts" don't bother even building in an optical media drive anymore. Why bother making a physical version when you have steam? Why would someone go to a store to pick up a game they could get, for the same price (or potentially more exepnsive than) on steam?
