Even the hardcore disarmament autists will get bored soon, the shitty netcode makes it hard to find anyone with a nuke, the shitty netcode duplicates nukes temporarily during the disarming process, and half the bases are blockaded because the entire playerbase is trying to disarm the same base.
Eventually Konami will just give up and trigger the cutscene at some random point when interest finally dies out and people have stopped buying MB coins, then people will post for a week about how nuclear disarmament was a ruse, nothing further will happen and they'll move onto the next thing to autistically focus on.
