Bloodborne is more replayable than any other from game and I'll tell you why.
In bloodborne any weapon is interesting, you can literally make a character per weapon, and now with the old hunters you can 11 more characters, (you can only make 10 tho) my point is that bloodborne is more attractive on playing the game again.
Most of dark souls weapons are just reskins of other weapons, and you do can make more builds on dark souls than on bloodborne, but you don't get too excited for playing again, also the gameplay is way better on bb and that makes you want to play again.

dark Souls 2 wasn't all bad. The lack of poise doing anything was a HUGE bummer. Made pretty much every set of heavy and even medium armor completely worthless. As for Dex weapons > stre weapons, I beat the game using the Greatsword and drake-keeper shield. Wore a mix of steel great armor set with elite knight mixed in. Although Poise was worthless, it did help with HP reduction when hit.
DLC was fucking awesome too. Eagerly awaiting Dark Souls 3. Achievement hunting in DS1 for fun.

As someone who loves both games to death, BB does a much better job of making each weapon feel unique and meaningful. Take the longsword weapon class, outside of having a slash or stab R2, the weapons are the same outside of stat modifiers. There are more moves on the transformed version of the Hunter's Axe than there are in the entirety of the longsword class.

I really hated it in DaS2, and in bloodborne I could tolerate it only because lanterns were actually super rare so it was okay (too bad the game showered you with bold hunter marks so it didn't really matter).
I would like DaS3 to go back to DaS1 style, possibly with fewer bonfires (people complain about the frequency of them in DaS2, but it's honestly only marginally worse on that front than DaS1).

I don't think you fully appreciate how shit the dragons were in previous souls games or even in DaS2 prior to him. When they weren't glorified stage props, they were just big stationary mobs like Kalameet and gaping dragon that amounted to not much more than a couple of large swipes. You never felt like you were actually fighting a dragon.
Sinh is the first actual dragon of the franchise as far as I'm concerned.

Input lag isn't an issue, the only time your input will be delayed is if another input is queued (as these games have sort of obnoxiously long input queues aside from Bloodborne, you kind of have to train yourself to not press anything more than necessary).

Instead of looping around and unlocking a shortcut, the player simply finds another bonfire in a straight line a five minute walk away.
