Remember when the Sony boomerang happened and you guys immediately decided it was the new PS4 controller? I have a feeling this is more of the same and we'll end up with a redesigned Wii classic controller
Those patents don't seem like the final design of the actual controller. I'd like to think that this thing is used away from the Wii U, rather than something you use all of the time.

It addressed a major shortcoming with the dualshock design, but was still too silly go to to market.

I'll be honest. I hope the NX is good but we don't need another super expensive controller. Hopefully this shit is cheap enough to actually buy more than one.
I honestly do hope they get back off there ass though. The past two gens have been embarrassing for them. Their lucky they somehow convinced Capcom to give them monster hunter at least.

Are you serious? Remember the Wii? Even a nunchuck was freaking expensive. This is Nintendo we are talking about
1. We have talked about it a lot
2. It's just a patent, not necessarily NX related (though it very possibly is NX related)
3. What's in the patent is never the final design, but half the discussion acts like it is the final design, so trying to talk about it is largely a waste of time
