Rarely played with my mom as she was only good at the NES Mario games, and even then she was still pretty awful. Only game she'd play was SMB3 and that was because it alternated player turns between stages (I would never die in SMB so she never got a turn to play).
Played with my younger sister off and on from time to time but it was mostly Super Mario Kart. Eventually quit playing because she would cry when I'd clobber her in battle mode and whine to mom and I'd get the "Anon, let your sister win or your grounded" routine.Dad was a total bro though. We played games like Battletoads and Contra together. He was never good at post-SNES games but that didn't stop him from trying. He died seven years ago. I really miss him.

I got my dad in to Starcraft after he saw me playing it. He actually started with the N64 version, but has since moved over to PC. He can't be bothered with SC2, he sticks to Brood War.
My parents don't play any other video games, but they are both inhumanely good at wii sports. They've had a wii since it came out and the only games they have are wii sports and some licensed bowling game.
