combat is a bore especially after playing gen 6, even more linear than the portable games, but it was fun unusual experience, but it didnt do anything the mainline games couldnt do, other than mixing up the plot formula

Gale of Darkness was fun, but had a lot of flaws. Started Colosseum but never finished it. I would definitely take another Colosseum/Gale of Darkness game over something like Battle Revolution, although Battle Revolution was fun in it's own regard up until a certain point and no free roam story like Colosseum/GoD was annoyingThe stages in Battle Revolution were better but fuck that Pokemon Roulette game, man.
Core concept was ambitious.
Difficulty was RELATIVELY high for Pokemon single player (again, relative)
Content way too limited in many ways if you bought them at full retail.
I liked Pokemon XD more.
