Open web browser.
Go to router config, address is either 192.168.1.1 or routerlogin.net usually, depends on brand, might be something else even.
Poke around for port forwarding.
Punch in your computer's local IP. Find this by opening command prompt, typing ipconfig and hitting enter. Local IP should look like 192.168.1.10 or something, always starts with 192.168.1. Then punch in the port. RoR uses 11100 by default. If the page asks for a range rather than a single port, punch in 11100 in both boxes.

Note: Your local IP may change between reboots, so you may need to go back and change this in the port forward page.

You just follow a tutorial cook-book that you google on the web, you don't have to think about it. The steps can differ based on your router model and firmware. Just google "port forwarding " + your router model.
What happens is that you are saying to your router to send all the traffic incoming onto a port you specify into a port on your PC. (Port is a sort of identification ID for a connection so you can differentiate what goes where, websites go here, voip calls go there etc)

I know this isn't really the thread to ask, but how do I git gud at Nuclear Throne?
I can't really make it past level 3-3, or 4-1.I love RoR, probably have over 80hrs in it. I even made a zip folder of it when I bought it DRM free to post on /v/ so others would play it and enjoy it/buy it. I plan to do the same with Hyper Light Drifter whenever it comes out.
