This is actually a valid concern, believe it or not. A machine with many moving parts is going to need some sort of liquid running through its systems, whether that is oil, hydraulic fluid or some sort of lubricant.

These fluids are as necessary for its operation as blood is for humans, so bleeding effects should work on them just fine.
