Honestly season 2 kinda killed KI for me. season 1 was great I thought, but most of season 2 is just not fun to play against. If Rash is anything to go by then season 3 will be fun again, but most of the season 2 cast is just frustrating. Also Shadow Jago is literally Demitri

I think thats because Season 2 was gimmicky as a compliment to Season 1 which was standard, so therefore you get an entire cast of characters who are balanced between gimmicky and standard.

I feel they went to gimicky in season 2, but compared to season 1 it is a lot better. Everyone was calling Season 1 a mediocre fighter everyone calls season 2 to gimicky season 3 is looking great especially with the new stagger system. I am glad DH left the game or we would still have season 1 gameplay
