This isn't even news, they said they would support W3 for 2 years back at release, as they transition more and more devs to CP2077. Blood and Wine releases 2016Q2, after they're happy with the patches that happen afterwards they'll move the last chunk of devs over and start talking about Cyberpunk in 2017.

Yes, because when they took what expensions were and suddlenly chopped them up and called these miniscule pieces DLC and demanded more per piece than what it would have cost as a whole it was not okay.
Expansions were largely okay, because they actually expanded the game, and were usually worth the money.
DLC, in comparison, harldy ever are.
