What are the best fishing games?
Fishing minigames that are better than the game they are in are welcome too.
I've never been able to get into sports, but vidya sports games are fun as hell, with fishing be at the top of the list. Golf is a close second.
It's just so damn relaxing and comfy.
Mega Man & Bass Hunter
Link's Awakening actually started as a fishing minigame a Nintendo dev just happened to be making on the side.
Wish they had expanded on the fishing aspect honestly, could have made for a classic game.
Legend of the River King deserves obvious mention as literally the only RPG fishing series in existence.

Runescape fishing is the best because you can just alt-tab and stop giving a shit for a while.
