I would like to play an RPG game where i can become an all powerful wizard.
Should i play Oblivion, Skyrimjob , or try and get into something older such as Morrowind? I had a lot of fun playing as a stealth archer in oblivion when i was a kiddo, i really should play through as a mage or a fighter one day
what games have the best mages?
Play dwarf fortress adventure mode, break into a necromancer tower, learn to raise the dead and literally have such a big army the game lagsjust don't forget to put a point in reading

If you install the graphic updates, morrowind is the best because the combat is actually stat based - moreover you have the freedom to make crazy spells unlike the rest of the series. Aside from the graphical flaws, it is objectively the best in the series

Morrowind - after oblivion, you won't be able to adjust. Plus oblivion will blow your mind with hoe good it looks afterwords.

Atronach is great if you can figure out how to maximize its potential. If you don't want to deal with no mana regen, go for Mage I guess.
