The ONLY reason I went Sony this gen is because of the Xbone reveal. I was 360 last gen and used it more than my PS3, but I don't have any brand loyalty, so when Sony didn't try to fuck me sideways, the PS4 was the obvious choice.

Sony shit the bed in 2006 and had to do damage control for an entire generation, just like Microsoft is doing right now. They eventually won last gen (strictly counting sales), and when they won E3, they figured they'd won this generation too. Now they've reverted to Arrogant Sony. "Everyone loved PS2 and PS3. They'll buy PS4. It doesn't matter what it is." So far, it's working, but the lack of games and the draconian methods of delivering content (A TV service? Emulation I have to pay for? Almost no games?) is starting to sour the playerbase.
