The chances of that having any relevancy to whether you should buy a Wii U are not as good.

May or may not play/stream Wii U games, may or may not be an actual new console to replace it.
If you there are some Wii U games you want to play, I'd say go get one. If you've waited this long, you're not likely to want an NX at launch either.
