FNC mythos was basically set up like a Greek God creationism mythos but works like a cycle of life and death.
So first there is the realm of the living and the realm of the dead.
Gods from the realm of the living cannot see the realm of the dead
So the god for the realm of the living was the goddess of Light Muinn, she had a son Bhunivelze, Bhunivelze was jealous of her power and so he killed Muinn, that sent Muinn into the realm of the dead.
Bhunivelze fearing that Muinn could escape and kill him creating three offspring of his own to search for the Gate to realm of the dead so he could destroy Muinns soul for good.
So Bhunivelze created Pulse, Lindzei who he gave power to, and Etro, but he unknowing created Etro in the image of Muinn and so he gave Etro no power.

How will the magic system work, if you had to somehow put it ontop of what we had in 2.0? There is a few unused buttons but I am not sure if it could take MP with how mana starved you are atleast in how we had it in the demo. But I guess you can regen mana over time so it could balance itself out of needing to manage magic, auto-dodge, warp and weapon skills on a single resource pool.
I think it has really high potential for questlines and a whole adventure to get "ultimate" weapons for each type Noctis can wield, with their own unique ability.

Combat is already different to Duscae, they reconfirmed manual weapon switch so you can manually change weapons on the fly and mid combo
You can also set weapons to being either a Crush, Ravage or Vanquish type hits, so just set all your weapon to Crush and you get your 1:1 inputs for every weapon even mid weapon change
Cross Links were completely overhauled and don't work the same as in the demo, they also added in other coop thing called Slash Link which is seamless coop moves
