Unreal Tournament 4 thread. Gonna dump a bunch of screenshots and webms I made. My ign is KICKFLIPGOD so add me

UT4 (Unreal Tournament) Is the latest Unreal game, it's in pre-alpha and sorta dead outside of daytime hours so i'm trying to get more people into it. It plays more like UT3 than '99/04 but takes a few steps in the right direction. They added a slide and a wall run for mobility but still haven't brought back the air dodge. Shield gun is still gone but now the impact hammer has an alt-fire that fires a burst of air which destroys projectiles. It's completely free with the exception of hats, and everything gets made by the community. Epic is doing a pretty decent job of keeping things up to date and they add tons of community-created content every month. They've supported competitive play a lot and have already held a few tournaments.
It's still doesn't compare to 2004, but it's much less dumbed-down than UT3 so it's something.

I messed around for a long time trying to figure out how to best make webms so they will be varying qualities and resolutions.

I want to play it again, I loved 99/2k3/2k4 alot and put thousands of hours into that.
I tried getting into UT4 but it seems my wrists are getting to fucked to make those crazy movements again.
Maybe its old age or just a mousearm idk, I cant handle arena shooters anymore which is a shame because I love them.

Here's a WIP shell map created by the community, tons of these get added often and Epic hand-selects them and makes assets for them to be much higher quality maps like i've been posting. They're doing a winter one right now that i'm pretty excited for
It's got better rocks than Battlefront too
