Honestly at this point I don't care how it'll look because IGA is the only guy I can trust who can deliver a good metroidvania experience.
Not one other dev, indie, kickstarted or otherwise could deliver anything on par with SoTN or the GBA/DS igavanias. It's depressing.

While it doesn't look outright terrible there is far to much lightning in the room, it should be a lot darker than it currently is. I would need to see how it appears in motion to make a final opinion on if it's shit or not.
I think I'd like to see it with more consistent, and stylized textures/backgrounds.
The stone bricks seem like a photo of some bricks, but the wood looks fake and cartoony. They don't look like they belong together.

Agreed, with some polish it could look quite nice, but if it doesn't get that polish it'll be pretty jarring
