Iv always thought an Etrian Odyssey show could be really neat. Progress would be tangible as the diferent adventurers go deeper in the dungeon, you could have a more constant setting with the town, it could follow multiple groups, have episodes based around adventure or town shinanigans. Really it writes itself

Ratchet movie is basically just copying the game. I guess they didn't think they could get away with copying Sly's more simplistic and cartoony artstyle for a whole movie so they went too "real" with it.
It's an unfortunately common problem with 3D versions of cartoony characters.
