Well Ratchet & Clank is one of the few game series with not a single bad mainline game, with every game marking an improvement or change. R&C 1-3 and Deadlocked(US)/Gladiator(EU) are all highly recommended. Some would argue they're the best games on the system. And they definitely are the best Western games on the system.

I've got bad news for you...

The R&C games are completely unplayable on PCSX2 due to using technical trickery to actually get the games running the PS2. Your only options are the PS3 remasters or the PS2 originals.

The Jak games are great, the second has a few hard parts, but if you're a grown-up and have the mental capacity and patience to try some different strategies if you get stuck it shouldn't be an issue. It's the best game in the series as far as I'm concerned, and the bosses are really fun.

OP here, whats your specs? They tend to be the most important aspect before anything else.

Other than that, check the compatibility guides, some games just wont run and others are "playable" which means.. the sound is fucked etc but you could finish them.

Yea it does require remapping. Safest bet is turning with shoulder buttons, but since op is using an emulator, using Joy2Key he can basically set it up to use the right analogue stick. Same applies to Kings field
