Why didn't you buy Code of Princess and Umihara Kawase, /v/?
http://agatsuma-games.jp/agatsuma%20press%20release1211.pdf
I did though
don't blame me for 3ds and vita fuck ups
>>319757647
Because Code of Princess is legitimate garbage.
Umihara Kawase is pretty good though
I was waiting for the trilogy to get discounted on Steam.
>>319757647
I did buy CoP, the pandering was good but the gameplay was shit. Dragons crown was better.
>>319757647
I bought the plus version on vita
>>319757647
So it was truly good bye, Umihara Kawase....
>>319759806
>Buy Sayonara as soon as it's released
>Later, trilogy discounted
>all three games for the price of Sayonara
>>319757647
I live in Europe, blame nintendo for the zoned 3DS.Implying I'd buy a digital only game
Bought the remake, but it's shit.
I guess that Code of Princess Steam port is no more.
> Code of Princess was one of the leaked steamdb games listed last week
> now you know that list is fake
Because the games were shit.
>>319761514
The second HL3 came up you knew the list was fake.
>>319762220
explain the games on the list that have since been announced
>>319757647
I actually bought both, they are both shit. Code of Princess had potential, but a multiplayer short brawler for the 3ds is doom to fail. Also it was way to short and had 0 customization, lots of characters felt the same.
The other one is a great game, but it was aimed to a certain kind of people who enjoy hard arcade like games
>>319762319
> explain the games on the list that have since been announced
dude... nothing on that list was announced for a steam release.
>>319762585
Xrd and FF6
>>319762747
Raiden Legacy too
>>319762319
Mix real ones with fake ones so nobody knows what to believe.
>>319762871
SteamDB pulls data from Valve servers directly, why would Valve do something like that?
>>319757647
on the contrary, I'm so glad I did not buy them.
>>319763018
Maybe someone found a flaw in SteamDB's coding and put up a few fake games to get people's hopes up.
>Unihara Kawase pulled from Steam/PSN
>Yumi's Odd Odyssey still available.
I did, and neither were particularly great.
I mean, Umihara was neat but Code of Princess was kind of terrible.
>>319763768
That's incredibly far fetched, though. As plenty of people said, chances are everything in the leak is real, but that doesn't stop projects from being cancelled or abandoned.
Shit, if anything this just proves it further, sudden ports of games to Steam are the #1 sign of a dev needing to make a quick buck.
While the character design looked amusing, the gameplay for Code of Princess as described is not to my taste.
Very tempted to buy the figure, though.
I bought the 3DS version of Umihara, but CoP looked pretty bad.
They waited too long for a steam version of the game. For the company to dissolve two months after release means it was a last ditch effort to get cash. They didn't understand steam is a steady source of income, but not a save the company level of cash.
Eh, bought the first two on Steam just in case
I'll let them sit there and refund and purchase again if they last long enough to be discounted in the upcoming sale
>>319765994
They were $15 in a bundle last week, so $5 per game. It might not go lower than that.
Still, at least it's not the Vita version. Here's a screenshot.
>>319766117
I missed that sale
I hadn't gotten around to playing the third game and wasn't sure i'd like the series
i'm alright with the current prices but I know they'll drop if they aren't pulled so i'll hold off on playing them
No physical release
I bought both on 3DS, don't look at me.
CoP was shit though.
>>319766326
Considering they died only 10 months after the Vita release and 2 after steam, they probably didn't have the upfront cash for a woldwide release.
>>319766757
If you sell only digital you deserve to go bankrupt.
Sometimes there is justice in this world, this is one of them.
>>319757647
>release games on steam
>go under
What went wrong
>>319759806
>paying for snes and ps1 emulation
pls
>>319767394
They released it on Vita several months prior
>>319767394
Steam was to bring change and help developers sell! I was really hoping Umihara would find a home and larger fanbase on steam.
>>319757647
Just bought the trilogy, in case they remove it from Steam
>>319767394
>What went wrong
they failed to make money on the handhelds they originally released on
