Major changes:
>all unlocks are now free for all players
>three new maps
>classes removed, replace with Light, Medium and Heavy archetypes
>rebalancing of almost every weapon
>all gold/xp spent has been refunded

What happened? I remember Tribes being thought of pretty fondly until HiRez fucked it up.
Remember that scene in social network where lex luthor is talking about falling dominos and stuff? When someone left your product, its much harder to get them back. That's Tribes Ascend for me, I have no desire to ever come back, despite having a ton of fun with it when it was still good.
