I shit you not i was working on this challenge yesterday. i spent 2 fucking hours trying to do this shit and never did it. Links are fucking impossible i have no idea how you're suppose to do it. If you put in the command after the move finishes it's too slow and doesnt link, if you do it to fast it doesnt register. its fucking stupid and makes me mad.

This combo can only be done in the corner, so start by walking Dan into either corner.

>J.HK
Do it close to the ground, so you start to recover right after it connects with your opponent.

>Cr.HP
Hold down or down-back as soon as you're in the air, it won't effect the J.HK, then press HP very shortly after you hit the ground.

>Hadoken
As soon as you press HP, move the stick from down to down-forward to forward, then press HP again. You can't really do this part too fast, so try to be quick.

>EX Focus Attack
As soon as you start to do the Hadoken animation, press MP+MK and immediately release.

What part can't you do?

If it's the crouch HP canceling into a hadouken, you have to input the movement as the punch is coming out. Think of it as double tapping the HP button while you're moving the stick or the d-pad.

This combo has no links other than a very very easy link from j.HK to c.HP, so it's way easier than others.

There is not a link in this combo. Your jumping roundhouse is canceled by landing, then cancel crouching fierce into a hadouken, then focus cancel that.

Footsies and fundamentals are just positioning. But positioning in fighters is really complex.

It involves knowing what your opponent can do at any given time and what your character can do, and positioning accordingly. When you put it all together and you take it to the highest level, it seems as if players are merely jockeying for position back and forth, when they're actually thinking and doing a lot of things at once. That's where the term "footsies" comes from.

What? No, you actually get less hitstun frames if you hit too high. You should always aim for the feet and not the head unless you're trying to fake a crossup or something.

Jump in, once you're in the air hold the stick/pad to the down position, then go HK -> HP - landing cancels most of the recovery, making it an easy link. Once you've pressed the HP, immediately move the stick/pad to down forward and forward and press a punch button, then immediately hit mk/mp as soon as possible again. These last two are cancels, so just be sure you're doing them quickly and the fireball motion is smooth,

Link has a very specific meaning, it means stringing combos together without canceling frames of animation.

That's not what happens in any of the steps here.
