They started making some let's plays episodes here and there.
How can people seriously dislike Undertale to the point they have to shitpost about it, it's very well made and it's clear it was made with passion, there's a lot of attention for all sort of details, from foreshadowing to character interaction, the bullet hell combat is a nice twist, boss battles are all unique and memorable, the soundtrack is godly and it's actually pretty deep and fucked up if you dare go down the rabbit hole and mess with its world memory.
It's by no means the best game ever but it's nice to see some interesting games with innovative elements in this age, specially considering it's an indie that came out from Kickstarter.

I played Blundertale and it was probably one of the worst, overhyped games I've ever played.
The only reason it did so good was the autistic and furry fanbases viralled it to hell wherever they could. The only reason it had such a presence on /v/ is because posters can be anonymous. In reality, most people who like Undertale are furries/autists/underaged/lgbt people

Undertale is a good soundtrack with an unbearable exercise in postmodern nostalgia attached to it as a "game", dressed up with blatant furbait. I love the music of Undertale, and I guess knowing its place in a story helps, but then you get to the fourth-wall-breaking that slaughters immersion in the name of making reference to a twenty-year-old SNES game, and you get to the game shoehorning in a lesbian romance where the fish-woman has really no reason whatsoever to be interested in the lizard-woman at all but Toby has to pander to Tumblr, and Tumblrinas responding by viewing the main character as one of their made-up nonbinary genders, and anyone in the fanbase who isn't into trying to fight bigotry with bigotry is instead obsessive about fucking an old goat. At a certain point, the game's pandering to cancerous elements in vidya fandom becomes too numerous for me to even care about the admittedly great soundtrack anymore

Why do Undertale fans refuse to believe people dislike their game, I will outright say it's not a bad game but it's not a good one either, and many people have their reasons as to why they don't like it.
Wanna know my favorite game? Ultima 7, I've seen people here say it's shit compared to the earlier ones and criticize it heavily but do I make posts all flabbergasted in denial about it? I mean, you're not WRONG. Not everyone likes Undertale and no one should be upset about that, but \I think the case with Undertale on /v/ lies more with the rabid haters of the game constantly talking about how much they hate it.
Other games don't have nearly as much infamy on /v/ as Undertale does. I don't really care for or like the Fallout series for example, but I don't go shitposting in every single Fallout thread I see because I just don't like the game because that's fucking stupid. People can like what I don't like.
A lot of people on /v/ claim they "don't care" about Undertale and that they're just "sick of seeing it everywhere," but they aren't doing a good job at alleviating the problem. What I was also saying is that not a single game here will be coveted by everyone because people will simply shitpost the game to death if it's popular, there's one little flaw they don't like, etc. It's impossible for everyone here to agree on the same thing that's why I don't understand why people are in denial when others don't like their game.
