This so much. Bear in mind we saw a lot of the cutscenes in the first trailers so they must have been near completion plus we saw a demo of the engine long before the game was announced.

Let's not forget level creation is supposed to be ridiculously easy. It's literally drag and drop to create environments. Check out the 2013 red band trailer, the pivotal cutscenes of the game were already finished, and by extension, the environments surrounding them.
