The whole tutorial island of Kingdom Hearts was bretty comfy. It was the first time I ever played KH and then when I got to that town levelI immediately switched the game off because a character from Final Fantasy 8 popped up, and being as I've never played a FF game I refused to keep playing until I had beaten the first 8 FF games so I'm up to speed with the story.

I'm one of these DS1 fans that was massively disappointed by DS2, but holy fuck, Majula is one of the comfiest video game areas I've ever been in.
PC games can't be comfy unless you are playing with a controller.

I think Shenmue and Yakuza are both really good games to just relax and unwind. You can just go around town, collect little trinkets out of those machines that I forget the name of, play space harrier or boxcellios or taiko drum master, maybe do some karaoke, feed a cat, and just generally unwind.

MM isn't that stressful if you use inverted time and just take every loop as it comes rather than trying to rush through the game.
I mean you only need to do a dungeon once after all, once you complete it you can warp straight to the boss in later loops.

Please explain to me how DD is comfy exactly? The only loosely comfy area I can think about are the safe spots in Bitterblack Isle.
Post-game completely annihilate any sense of comfort from the game, and that's the best part of the game (not counting Bitterblack).
