Aside from triggering people, one of the reasons that its taken out is so that the game can be sold in Germany (and maybe France). I've run mods on various games to put the real historical flags back into the game. Personally I don't see why people get so upset by something that has never affected them personally. Anyway, the swastika has been around for thousands of years as a religous symbol, if they want to remove it as a symbol of violence they should show it more in its original context.
