It's going to happen eventually. Sony has no other road. They'll either go bankrupt and someone will own and publish everything on Steam or Sony will publish games on Steam. Consoles are on the path to death in 10 years. Specialized hardware outside of industry specific high end needs is dead.

But really though, I honestly don't get why they're remastering Gravity Rush. It looks pretty much perfect on Vita already. Other than a few jaggies and 60fps but I don't see why they need an entire remaster for it.

I love the game but visually the subnative resolution and aliasing really hurt it. Like, really significantly. Compare it to the likes of Tearaway and Freedom Wars and the difference is blatant.
I'd also argue the remaster is appreciated as it'll hopefully iron out the loading issues the game had when you reached top speed as well.
And they're doing the remaster in part so that PS4 owners can get into the series before 2 is out.
