It's customizable so you can change the d-pad and remove the paddles if you want to, that's part of why they marked it up.

I'm assuming you didn't beat it then. The story falls off real fucking fast, once you realize you can do the main quests in like 10 hours.
Don't get me wrong, the dialogue is top notch, but the overarching plot is absolute garbage. After you meet Yen and do some of her quests, which you guessed it, involve USING YOUR WITCHER SENSES TO CURE CANCER, the plot just slaps your nuts and attempts to lure you in with muh daughter bullshit.
Which would work, if Ciri had been in a single game, rather than been introduced entirely in a single, almost entirely optional dialogue.

Thanks for the flashbacks with Ciri combat, instead of flashbacks with PLOT. I swear the entire production of the story was just not thought through at all.
I also felt a little bit jammed given the subtitle being Wild Hunt. I sort of expected the Wild Hunt to be the main focus, if not the only focus. They're less fleshed out than a fucking random werewolf sidequest.
I am mad. Still, I can admit success when it's there. Facial Animations, Lighting, and Dialogue all go to Witcher 3. 2/10 Game.

The only reason I really want to buy the Xbone elite controller is because you can shorten the triggers.

I have it and use the hair trigger lock for RT. Pretty much cuts the travel distance in half. Only problem with it is that I can't charge the plasma pistol in Halo 5 when I have the lock on, incredibly minor inconvenience. Also, being able to set the sensitivity curve on the sticks is incredible.

The triggers in PC games are buttons just that you need to press them all the fucking way in inorder to do something like scrolling in a menu or attack in certain games and it is really annoying.
Even my old Dualshock 2 is better for PC gaming than the Dualshock 3 and Xbox 360 controllers.
I just want a high quality controller that's good for PC gaming and if this controller shortens the triggers enough then it might actually be worth the price for that alone

I have a 360 controller and do well enough in certain shooters on PC. BF4, CoD, Battlefront, and coop games like Payday 2 and Vermintide. but other games its just impossible to be precise enough compared to mouse users. For instance I tried playing tanks in warthunder with the 360 controller the other day and its nearly impossible to make the slight adjustments you need to in order to hit certain small parts of tanks.
Can a Steam controller make those minute movements? Cause the 360 sucks dick compared to a mouse in that game.

It's my go to controller for fps, and I have a ds4 and xbone controller too. You can really deeply customize how the right pad emulates a mouse too until it feels just right for you.
The only things you won't like the steam controller for are fighting games (literally impossible using one of those pads as a d-pad in a fighter). Also always use the left pad for movement imo, it feels really nice once you get used to it.

It's a great controller. Build quality is excellent, swappable parts are always a plus. I mainly bought it for the paddles though, which are fantastic for racing games.
It is a touch overpriced, however.
