Did anyone else just join the massive 32 player Squad Mission that had the Golden glowing name, '' Nintendo '' as the host?
A lot of people are saying it was a Mod or Developer or someone who actually works at Nintendo. I don't know what that was but we spawned in a field that was empty. After all of us were in the glowing name of a blue alien chick named '' Nintendo '' with a level of 99 sync'd our levels but everyone turned to lvl 75 and Nintendo stayed at 99.
Followed by 4 lvl 81 bosses that surrounded us with Nintendo leading the charge to piss them all off and we all had to come together to beat them.
After about 20 mins or so the mission was complete and I got zoned back to the barracks. One of the drops is a lvl 59 legend/yellow and I'm only level 23.

Also I noticed the same player can be recruited and it's a blue alien chick with freckles, larger bust than any other character, super short and petite, wearing some risque armor and is level 17?
Anyone else notice this weird shit or is there a hacker already in the game? Why force a 32 squad mission and spawn 4 level 81's? Why did we only sync up to level 75?

Treasure finds and setting down probes give you EXP. Obviously you also need exp to level.

Anyone surprised they actually made the combat in this game a million times better than the first one? I thought it would be 1:1 but it just hits the right notes.Arts animations are better,you can sprint and jump, arts secondary cooldowns,skells and even overdrive.The battles are so fast and fun that I'm having doubts in replaying the original again

Whoever came up with secondary cooldowns deserves a medal. It was so fucking obvious that nobody ever did it that I can think of aside from probably some shit like super skills in some one-off PS2 game.

What's confusing about it? It:
*Makes arts cooldown faster
*Causes all Arts to enter secondary cooldown regardless of which auto attack weapon you're using
*Enables tertiary cooldown
*Has a chain counter for using offensive arts of the same type that increases damage, reduces cooldowns even further, and reduces monster resistances
*Has certain benefits for chaining colour art colour combinations

It's a one character thing. Chain Attacks encouraged you planning out your party and making things synergize better. It also rewarded good play.
OD is just about waiting till your TP is high enough to use, not playing skillfully. It also makes healing builds worthless as they can't do Overdrive shenanigans so well.
I know most of what stuff about OD, I just don't know how to get my 3000 TP back mid OD and make it steamroll, jerk. I can't make maximum use of it yet. You also don't have very good tools to plan out a good OD at the start as it requires lots of moves of similar colours that hit for a lot of hits.
And that's what keeps OD from being too broken until you're further in and understand how to load out better.

My reasoning is less how do you use OD and more, why is this garbage mechanic in the game? All the people who like it seem to be people who think Bayonetta 2 and Brawl were good system mechanics. Am I missing something? Because it seems useless until you have a lot of arts of similar colour that hit multiple times.
Chain Attack also allowed you to change colour with talent arts. It was an elegant maneuvre that rewarded awareness of how combat was going for you.

You literally stop the pacing of the battle and just use arts of the same color for damage and it's an automatic win you know how to use it.Overdrive is more high risk high reward kind of thing.It doesn't stop the flow of better and and makes you stronger but if you're smart enough you can combo enemies to infinity.It has definitely more depth than chain attack

This game is a bloated grindathon and the only reason the first wasn't was because Chain could do ridiculous damage to things. It rewarded foresight.
