Like seriously, please don't bring up Dhalsim. Dhalsim's body, stretching aside, is semi-proportianate to a starving person in reality.
This guy's head is impossibly fucking skinny and it looks outright wrong for the Street Fighter series. Like where is his goddamn brain and what does it look like? He just feels completely out of place.

There are people who are way too huge to be regular humans, but you can see in the universe how they can exist. Even fucking Q has decent proportions and he's a goddamn robot.
But Fang just breaks all the rules and is literally a stick, he looks impossible even in the universe of Street Fighter, a 20+ year old franchise. Again, WHERE IS HIS BRAIN? If he's a robot or artificial person, I can understand, but if he's not then he's a shit design.
I mean imagine seeing this guy in Fist of the North Star. Fist of the North Star has outrageously huge people, but it didn't have one character as skinny as this because it would look awful and clash with the rest.

He looks like the devs made a character but then decided he didn't look goofy enough so they stretched the entire thing heightwise until they were satisfied with how silly he looked.
If you were looking at this for the first time, which one would you think is the original image: Left or Right?

I don't see the resemblance at all. I don't know all of Fang's moves, but I know he has some rekka-y looking stuff and poison projectiles. Slayer was my main for a while back when I played #Reload on Wingdreams with the rest of /v/: he's got dashpunches, dandy-step (ie an invincible backdash followed by either a punch, overhead, or launcher), a command grab that heals him, a sweet teleport for his dash with i-frames (which Dictator now has in SFV). I'm not seeing any of this on Fang.

Just rewatched his reveal trailer. I'm still not seeing it even when I'm looking for it. It's hard to judge from a trailer, but it looks like Fang is all about obnoxious zoning, poison, and evasion (command duck like Blanka's, his VReversal is a free Get Out Of Corner, and his dash goes under stuff) gimmicks. Slayer was all about hitting REALLY hard, especially on CH with no real nuance or tricks about him--at least not compared to the rest of the GG cast.
Anyway, I think he looks fun, even if his character design is questionable. If he weren't so weirdly proportioned he'd remind me of the harpists from Kung Fu Hustle.
