With 4KTV's becoming actually fucking reasonable in terms of price (you can get a 42inch at $350)
Is anyone here considering upgrading? what do the consoles look like upscaled to 4k and how long away is 4k 60fps on pc at a reasonable price? (SLI 980's isn't reasonable)

Personally I don't think 4k/60 is going to be possible on all new games as standard (for a reasonable price) for another 2 GPU generations. It sure as fuck isn't viable with current GPUs.

If you can run 4k just downsample it on a 1080p or whatever monitor/tv you got and save for a much better screen.

no console uses it natively, just upscales. still looks nice and crisp.

From "Seiki". I can also get an LCD at 60 inches from some no-name brand, but I won't for a reason. It's not some magical price drop that just made this cheaper than 32 inch LCDs, this is a pile of shit.
