Flight simulators are the most boring, most unimaginative, least engaging games out there with a learning curve as steep as the Matterhorn, and as a PCfag thats literally all we get in terms of fighter plane games.
Those games with the sweet spot between arcadey casual shit and simulator autism are far and few and Ace Combat is one of those, and it will never be on PC, neither 6 nor 7.

Ace Combat is not even close to being a sim. It's a pure arcade game.
The fact that shit like War Thunder exists which sets the bar even lower doesn't make AC anything close to being a flight simulator.
It's an action game through and through, and instead of planes you might as well be controlling mechs or tanks flying through the air.
Also, games like this exist on the PC, while true flight simulators don't exist on consoles at all.
