Each one giving what I viewed as worthy reasons to include them. Except one, which was K.Rool.
That was only the second time because of the Mii Costume fiasco. More or less just stated

One because they asked there only be one per person. Mine was ridiculously detailed. I almost hit the character limit, I posted a YouTube link detailing how the character would work, I explained why I thought it deserved a slot, how you could implement it... I went all out. I'm pretty sure they'll ignore it entirely, but at least I feel better.

I gave them a Project M video, I told them Other M Ridley is a clone and just because a character is on a stage doesn't prevent them from being playable, I said he could be just a little bigger than Bowser and DK and still be intimidating and big enough to lift Samus one-handed, I pointed out that they have big stages so they could have bigger characters, I suggested they make him like an inverse Little Mac (great in the air, shit on the ground). I really tried to convince them.

I like that individuals and I'm not fond of actions that simply treat the ballot as an election completely and don't even bother using claim, detail, and conclusion. Pious Augustus from Eternal Darkness
I typed down that he has a unique type of weapon (it's a bone staff with one blunt end and a sharp end on the other end) and would be a breath of fresh air given his design and character. He also has a variety of spells to deploy and while I did state that the protagonist Alex Roivas would be fine Pious is more interesting and has more potential compared to her. He's owned by Nintendo and I know that he's obscure and has less than a fraction of a chance of getting in but I just gave it an attempt since I'm fine with a lot of the popular candidates.
