There's no point is discussing with you because you already have a previous bias. I can try and waste time explaining some points, but you'll always find a thing to be mad about and we'll greentext back and forth for 40 minutes until the thread is gone.
All I'll say is that I'm neutral on this game, I don't particularly want to play it, but I see no reason to dismiss it from the getgo either. TF2 characters aren't deep in any way, they are just simple stereotypes/caricatures of various real life places/cultures which lend themselves better to a different type of humor/person (such as you) than the disney/teen-inspired Overwatch characters
It's a different aim. Instead of a maniac Pyro who has no conscience of right or wrong and is stuck in the mind of a child while he burns his victims to death, you have a genetically modified gorilla that was taken care of by a scientist who dies in an accident and the gorilla keeps his glasses as a reminder of the great person he was - whenever someone touches/breaks those glasses he goes into a rage mode.
TF2 does into dark or more adult humor (spy fucking scout's mom. Peeing in bottles in order to camp, cutting off heads, etc) Overwatch tries to pull your heatstrings a bit more and has a different kind of slapstick humor (Disney/Dreamworks/Hero stuff). It's not better or worse, just different audiences

That's weird because a lot of people complain that SC2 is too difficult to play in comparison to BW. But it's mostly because it's macro management city.
But all of their games were arguably casual in comparison to their competitors, the thing that made them so great was their refinement and quality of design.
Blizzard games still have that, but their design philosophy has changed to widen their demographic. But games like WoW were always casual in comparison to other MMO's, it was popular because it did everything so much fucking better than games like Everquest. Games like Starcraft: Ghost went on hold indefinitely because of it's unexpected success.
