Personally, seeing all the products coming out of Japan with the fanservice either toned down or completely gutted has really dampened my enthusiasm. I don't care about fanservice, I wouldn't do any of the "Facerubbing" or onsen stuff anyway, but I resent having to pay full price for a game that's had pieces chopped out of it.
I'm an adult, I should have a choice what I consume, not have it cut up because someone got their panties in a bunch.
So, pretty dubious myself.
But, still gonna buy it, still gonna play Hoshido first. Probably gonna marry Aqua unless Hinoka is truly a qt3.14

Nohr seems far more popular in general, I'm kind'a surprised by how everyone seems to want to play it.
The aesthetic of it just doesn't really appeal to me I guess, dark and gothic compared to an Asian fantasy. It's not often we really get to see much Asian mythos in fantasy.

I like Nohr better, but I know if I play it first I would just be disappointed with everything that comes after it. Therefore I'm probably going to play Hoshido first just to get it out of the way, and do IK last.
Also, censorship is a concern but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me.

The appeal of Nohr is the difficulty and maps design with no grinding. Hoshido is open field awakening tier grinding.
