if Phantom Pain is indeed just a "phantom game" that is part of the social experiment "OGRE", then it would make sense to come clear with the next installment of MGS, since Konami has been officially hiring for the next Metal Gear game earlier this year. This would mean we'd have to wait a few more years for the ultimate conclusion to everything.
At this point though, I don't have the energy to ride this train anymore.

That was a single (unfinished, not cut) mission that didn't make it in. You can just watch it on youtube. There's no more "cut content" aside from that. Chapter 3 is without a doubt just the nuclear disarmament stuff.

Chapter 1 is the same. There are always 2 filler missions between every real main mission that triggers an important cutscene at the end. It's a very clear pattern when you go into lua scripts.
