I've sauntered through entire enemy invested floors without seeing the guy. Does he become faster the higher up you are?

True, he's pretty easy to avoid. Only time I ever ran into him was when I forgot to pause while grabbing lunch. Came back to my whole party wiped. After that I was always on my toes

I'm kind of interested if there's a connection between him spawning and high level enemy spawn rate after escaping him. I messed around in Tziah with letting him start chasing me and then running to the next floor, and it seemed the pink shadows would almost always pop up
