playing NFS underground 2 right now, p-cool.
Except that my rubberbanding sense is tingling a bit and that crashing can feel either non-significant but thanks to rng can hit like a truck too. I've had carse launching up into the sky for no reason often that would otherwise bull through them without much problems.
Another gripe is, like almost all racinggames, the camera. when driving up a hill it is impossible to see uncoming traffic at all.
I like the tuning of suspension and shit for your car a lot.

It's only tied to one of the views. The camera drops basically behind the car and swings with the angle of the drift. It's tied to the mechanic so you can anticipate when it's going to happen once you understand how the cars move. This is what it looks like in the furthest camera position.

That's like wanting manual gears on a burnout game. The cars do mach 2 and shift so quickly it puts F1 cars to shame. Even the inferno van is faster and you can hear the transmission in that thing BANG every shift.

All these years and no racer has satisfied me like Burnout Revenge, none, it's the perfect racer minus Crash Mode, that shit gets boring after a dozen times or so. Takedown is great but Revenge is better imo. Soundtracks, I love em both, We need a new Burnout Revenge or Takedown style burnout.
