I can never finish this game because it's the slowest ARPG I've ever played in my life - from attack animations, to movement speed, to the amount of HP enemies have compared to how much damage you do. The only time I ever had fun with it was when I had a shitputer that was just strong enough to run ZSNES but not strong enough to make changing its framerate work properly so I could boost its speed on the fly at reasonable levels instead of playing it in awkward turbo mode 24/7. Even Ys 5 is snappier than it, and that's saying a lot.
