The rarity of this, and the implausibility of this should be easy to decode anon. The reason South African PMCs and shit of the like are so popular in the media is because the South African military company business boomed after apartheid ended and white soldiers didn't want to be a part of the new military.
Whether it was because of racist views, or because they didn't want to risk being led by incompetents being put in power simply because of their race/affiliation (which ended up happening for awhile) many whites in the old SADF went private.

Yeah I agree. I think the game switches from looking super great, from not very good at all.
Maybe it's because I've played games for so long, but it feels like I see through the smokes and mirrors of a game's graphic tricks way more now. MGSV used tons of low poly and squarey meshes with advanced lightning to cover it up, which I thought worked pretty well.
This though? I don't know, U4 goes for some kind of flat, low detail style, very simple textures a lot of the time, and then puts all the horsepower on the faces in cutscenes, but I don't buy the illusion completely. Sometimes it works amazingly, but at times it feels like you can see the cogs and how hard they try to hide limitations with the artstyle.
It looks, like its made of clay or something. Like it lacks textures at times, as a PS4 owner, I honestly think the Order is the better looking exclusive.

They had a ton of lay-offs last year. Most of the talent went to Dice. I know Naughty Dog also hired lots of guys from China to fill the studio to capacity and they also outsource a lot of work to Chinese studios too.
