Fate/GO's plot has actually been decent in that regard so far. Seibah hasn't had a plot-related role at all besides being the villain at the end of the prologue, Emiya's even more of a literal who unless you believe the theory that the MC is Shirou and Rin's child, and Gilgamesh won't even show up until the the last arc of the first year's worth of plot. Right now the only Servants that have gotten somewhat wanked are Drake, Jeanne, and Nero, each of those relegated to one chapter only, while the rest has been focused on new characters. They're also apparently setting up King Solomon as the villain.
