That's only if you want to play AAA titles on their maximum settings. A gaming PC that can run said games on similar settings as consoles, is still cheaper.
Excluding peripherals of course, because you need those for a console as well.
I got a PS4 because I just wanted to play games and PS4 has best multi platform support and most interesting exclusives to me. There is absolutely no contest that PC is superior to all consoles, but as someone who just wanted to play new games and doesn't really know anything about PCs or have the money to buy a good one right away, I went with a console. Convenience + price is why people go with consoles and not PCs.

$800 gaming pc is way cheapter than a $900+ while running everything on 1080p with 60fps, while the consoles you either enjoy silky smooth 30 fps with tons of framedrops to 20fps during gaming or crystal clear 720p in 2015.

The new Shadowrun games were pretty bad, but Dragonfall is at least the most playable out the three. None of them are really worth playing. I love how they put so much effort into making it moddable, but I haven't seen any ones that are really worth while.
